Flat 6 Limited therefore provides cutting edge project management skills bringing together all project resources to solve all underlying challenges faced during project implementation to successfully complete works within stipulated cost, time and quality.

Environmental Management and Sustainability

We design efficient building systems that reduce energy, material and water consumption thus enhancing user comfort and ensure indoor environmental quality. We strive to create environments that are sustainable. We believe that to successfully execute a sustainable project the interdisciplinary aspects of politics, economy, social and environment have to be holistically considered.

Urban/ Master Planning

Rapid global trends and massive urbanisation in many parts of the world have presented challenges in the race to have organised and functional neighbourhoods and urban dwellings. Increasing factors of the population, energy consumption, transport needs, pollution, economic activities must all be put under consideration when master planning for urban and rural areas. Flat 6 limited doesn’t only put these and other factors under consideration, it inculcates them in its master planning philosophy as a means of providing a sustainable, holistic and contemporary urban environment.

Design and Build

Flat 6 Limited does not only stop at Design and documentation, it goes ahead to carry out construction works through project delivery systems such as Design and Build (D&B), Design Build Operate and Transfer (DBOT).

How we Work

Masterplanning (Pre-Design Process) The first step of the architectural design process is where the goals, values, and needs of a client are defined. This is the stage of the process where an architect will meet with his/her client to discuss and refine a shared “game plan” for the project.
Schematic Design Now that the architect and client are on the same page with the overall vision of the project, the foundation and design elements of the building are brought to life through drawings. A rough sketch of the building schematics is prepared to be reviewed with the client.
Design Development During this phase it’s time to expand those illustrations into a working model of the final project. The schematics from the previous step will be overlaid with far more detailed information provided by team members and consultants.
Construction Drawings The final step involves translating the schematics so that they are suitable for construction and permit submittal. The architect will prepare final drawings that fully communicate the design elements to those who will be involved in the construction process
Bringing the Vision to Life Once the architectural design process is completed and ready for building, it’s up to the construction team to take those ideas and bring them to life.
